Julie Meyer joins Engineering as Lecturer in Signals Engineering

Dr. Julie Meyer joins King’s College London as Lecturer in Signals Engineering in January 2025. Her research interests revolve around the fields of room & architectural acoustics, virtual acoustics, psychoacoustics and numerical wave-based methods. Her current focuses are on spatial audio rendering methods and the design of psychoacoustics experiments in complex and realistic scenarios.

Julie received a BSc degree in physics (2013) and a MSc degree in acoustics (2015) from Sorbonne University in Paris, France, and a DSc degree (2022) in computer science from Aalto University in Espoo, Finland. Before coming to King’s, Julie was a member of the AXD team in Imperial College as a research associate in the SONICOM project since January 2023.
